In World War II the Japanese were trated like if all of them were guilty for what Japan was doing. The same thing happened with the Midlle Eastern people after 9-11. Both races were discriminated because their home country or one small group of rebels from their countries were doing bad things. The Americans acted in a racist way because they were judging a whole group that didn't have anything to do with what a small group did. Both races were mistreated without reason. Awhole race cannot pay for what a group of them do.

JAPANESE RELOCATION

The Japanese relocation, for me, was racism and hatred aginst the Japanese. The japanese in America were persecuted like thieves or traitors, just for be japanese.

I think that, of course, this can happen again in this times. We still having racism and if this country have a war with another country the Americans will treat the people from that country in a bad way. I 'm not saying all the Americans, but a part of them. That is happening right now with the people from the Middle East because of 9-11 and the war in Iraq. I think the war is the last thing that a country have to think about, in order to solve a problem. I don't think the war is necessary, because the countries should try to find another ways to solve the problems.
The only war that I think was necessary in some way is World War II, and just because of the Holocauste. To think in war is think that we are in the dark ages, when the people had to kill each other because they couldn't talk, they just acted like animals. I think that in this times a country can not ever think in create another Holocauste because we have the experience and we know that is no correct. If there were another Holocauste the other countries would try to stop that since in the begining. And now we have a lot of organizations that fight for the world peace and for a good relation between the countries. I this time the people can have debates about the problems and don't take the things by force. To fight is not necessary. The only way that I could agree with a war is if is not more ways to resolve the conflict.

The last week we were in spring break. We went to shopping and we went to visit our relatives and some friends. In the end of the week I didn't want to see the stores anymore, because my mother wanted to go shopping every day. She always had something to buy for somebody or just something that she needed for herself. My mother left the las sunday, but I'm happy because I saw her and I share with her.

Yesterday we had a new experience in our program, we knew the students from the Bronx Community College. They are the people who will see our blogs, and we will see their blogs too.

We had a breakfast together and we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art all together. Before yesterday I was nervous because we would meet new people, but yesterday I wasn't nervous. I think the students from the Bronx are very nice. I wasn't nevous because we share with them and we talked and laughed together.

I felt very good with them, although in the museum we split up and I didn't see them again. We walked too much in the museum, that is why when we went out I felt so tired. I didn't know which peace of art was better to select because there are so many pictures and other things. I saw one picture's poster in the gift shop that captured my atention, but I couldn't find the picture any where. Then we had to walk a lot looking for the train station, so I arrived one hour late to work.

 NIGHT

The book night talk about the experience that a 12 years old Jews boy lived inside a concentration camp. How his family were expelled from their town and all the experience that he had. That is not the kind of book that I like to read because is so cruel and bloody . But I think is good know the realities of the life, the things that happened in the past that can change the future.
The book make us to question about a lot of things in our life and abouth the past and the future of the world. The book make us enter in the history and live the history. The book make us to ask ourselfs the same things that Elie ask to himself, to feel the same feelings, to live his life. We can take this book and other similar books for example that what happened in tha past and try to don't permit that happened again. The book also teach how the people can became dehumanize for the situations of their lifes.

Two weeks ago I was going home from work. I was walking with a friend that have like 50 or 60 years old. In one moment we saw two mice runing in front of us. We screamed. I began to speak loudly because I didn't want that the mice came back. We continued walking. My friend went first, and when she was passing the mice came back and they passed over her feet. She was jumping and I began to scream and laugh at the same time. Imagin one 50 yers old woman jumping like crazy, I couldn't believe it. I laughed for a whole hour. Then I was scared to pass for that place, but I passed and nothing happened. I gave thanks to God.
